Handblock Jaipur Square Tablecloth 55in x 55in
Each of our tablecloths is hand block printed by artisans in India using a centuries-old craft: patterns carved into wooden blocks, dipped in dye, and pressed onto [100% cotton] one impression at a time.
Because every print is placed by hand, no two tablecloths are exactly alike. Small variations in color, spacing, and line are the mark of the maker, not a flaw, and they give each piece a warmth that machine printing can't copy. Each Tablecloth is 55in x 55in.
Caring for Your Hand Block Tablecloth
Hand block prints are made with real dyes on natural fabric, so a little extra care will keep yours bright for years.
Washing: Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent. Wash separately for the first few washes, as some dye may release. Do not use bleach or brighteners.
Drying: Line dry in the shade for best color, or tumble dry on low. Remove promptly to reduce wrinkles.
Ironing: Iron on the reverse side on medium heat while slightly damp.
Spills: Blot spills right away with cool water. Avoid soaking or scrubbing the print.
Good to know: Colors may soften gently over time, which is part of the charm of hand-printed textiles. Slight color, spacing, and edge variations are signs of handwork.
