The Gathered Table was built on faith, family, and the joy of gathering around the table. Each design is rooted in scripture and created with intention — not just as game gear, but as a reminder that community and connection matter. Created with care by a small, family-run team, our mats bring together beautiful design and meaningful purpose, so every game feels like more than just a game.

Our mats are crafted from premium neoprene with a smooth, stitched edge for durability. The cushioned surface protects your table while keeping tiles from sliding during play — perfect for long game sessions!

Our mats are sized to comfortably fit a standard 4-player American mahjong table setup, including racks. It is 33 in × 33 in. It covers a standard card table well.

Simply wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap as needed. Avoid soaking, high heat, or harsh chemicals. Lay flat to dry completely. It is not uncommon to see a spot where you cleaned until it is completely dry.-Give it a full 24 hours. Store it rolled (not folded) to keep it looking great for years of gameplay.

We love bringing personal touches to The Gathered Table! While our current designs are ready-made, message us to ask about custom color requests or upcoming limited releases — we're always gathering new ideas.

Returns & Exchanges

We want you to love your purchase and enjoy many games around your table. If something isn't quite right, we're here to help.

Returns
Items purchased directly from The Gathered Table may be returned within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused, clean, and in their original packaging with all accessories included. To start a return, email us at visitgatheredtable@gmail.com with your order number and the reason for your return. Please contact us before sending anything back, as returns sent without approval can't be processed.

Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the item arrived damaged or we sent the wrong item. We recommend a trackable shipping method, as we can't be responsible for returns lost in transit.

Holiday Returns
Shopping early for Christmas? Purchases made between Thanksgiving and December 25 may be returned through January 8.

Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll issue a refund to your original payment method within [5–7] business days. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Please allow a few extra days for your bank to process the refund.

Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged or isn't what you ordered, please email us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. We'll make it right with a replacement or a full refund, including shipping.

Final Sale Items
The following items can't be returned: personalized or custom orders, items used or damaged after delivery, sale or clearance items marked final sale, and gift cards.

Market & Event Purchases
Items bought at our markets and events follow the same policy. Please keep your receipt and email us to arrange a return or exchange.

Purchases from Other Retailers
If you purchased a Gathered Table item through a shop, boutique, Etsy, Amazon, or another retailer, please contact that seller directly for returns and exchanges, as they manage their own orders and policies.
